Kelly O’Neill is the maker behind Kelly’s Clay ceramics. Kelly is a teacher- artist, having gained a PGCE in Art, Craft and Design, at the University of Gloucestershire.
Kelly’s Clay makes small batches of handmade functional ceramics. Each piece is handcrafted in Bristol on the potters wheel or hand built, making each piece unique.
All Kelly’s Clay ceramics are made using stoneware clay high fired to ensure its strength and durability, making it ideal for everyday use.
Inspiration for Kelly’s Clay ceramics is varied. Having studied Textiles design at the University of Brighton, Kelly enjoys the tactile nature of ceramics, from working with clay on the wheel, to experimenting with glazes. Work often incorporates patterns inspired by textiles, as well as patterns inspired by the natural world.
